R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Kenneth and Jeannie Gaines of Cumby celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on February 23, 2013, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The couple exchanged the vows of matrimony in Fort |
|
|
Worth in 1963, and over the course of their marriage, they have |
|
|
found in each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Gaines count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their daughters, Donna George, Debbie |
|
|
Cameron, and Paula Teague, with whom they treasure sharing many |
|
|
special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Kenneth and Jeannie Gaines have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kenneth and Jeannie Gaines on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Gaines as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
