R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Kevin Morris and Allie North have distinguished |
|
|
themselves with their outstanding showing in the Waco Baptist |
|
|
Academy spelling bee; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This contest was the first event of its kind held at |
|
|
the academy, and it featured a group of talented young competitors; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With their superb skills, Kevin and Allie emerged as |
|
|
the top two performers, with Kevin winning the contest and Allie |
|
|
finishing as first runner-up; both students now advance to compete |
|
|
in the county-level spelling bee; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Kevin Morris and Allie North have proven themselves |
|
|
to be young Texans of great ability and dedication, and they may |
|
|
indeed reflect with pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kevin Morris and Allie North on |
|
|
their success in the Waco Baptist Academy spelling bee and extend to |
|
|
them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared |
|
|
for the students as an expression of high regard by the Texas House |
|
|
of Representatives. |
