R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, February 14, 2013, marked the 25th wedding |
|
|
anniversary of Earle and Sharon Calvert of Waco, providing a |
|
|
fitting opportunity to reflect on their memorable journey together |
|
|
as husband and wife; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Calvert were joined in matrimony on |
|
|
Valentine's Day in 1988; they take pride in a fine family that |
|
|
includes their children, Jessica Calvert, Jacquelynn Harris and her |
|
|
husband, Trent, Joshua Calvert and his wife, Calli, and the late |
|
|
Jennifer Calvert, as well as a grandson, Ryley, and three |
|
|
step-grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden, and Heath Harris; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, the couple are |
|
|
now both retired; Mr. Calvert enjoyed a notable career as a clinical |
|
|
psychologist with 30 years of military and government service and |
|
|
Mrs. Calvert also worked in government for three decades as an |
|
|
executive secretary; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The 25 years of marriage that Mr. and Mrs. Calvert |
|
|
have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love and |
|
|
commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all who |
|
|
know them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Earle and Sharon Calvert on their |
|
|
silver wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Calvert as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
