R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |
|
|
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Johnny and Grace Lowe |
|
|
of Bedford celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on |
|
|
January 24, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lowe were joined in matrimony in 1963; |
|
|
through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family |
|
|
that includes three children, Jeff Lowe and his wife, Kellie, Jason |
|
|
Lowe and his wife, Christina, and Julie Lunsford and her husband, |
|
|
Chad, as well as eight grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and |
|
|
Mrs. Lowe are both retired educators who taught in Arlington and |
|
|
Irving; in addition to meeting their career and family |
|
|
responsibilities, they have enjoyed traveling to various locales |
|
|
over the course of their relationship; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lowe have enjoyed a half-century of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Johnny and Grace Lowe on their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Lowe as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
