R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The 60th Annual Buccaneer Days Coronation, "The |
|
|
Court of Triumphant Dynasties," presented by Las Donas De La Corte, |
|
|
is being celebrated on Thursday, May 2, 2013, in Corpus Christi; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This year's event theme will highlight some of |
|
|
history's great dynasties, ranging from the ancient Babylonians to |
|
|
the 19th century; 32 area high school students, who are a source of |
|
|
great pride to their families and community, will serve as court |
|
|
attendants and heralds; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Among those participating in the 2013 court are: |

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the 60th Annual Buccaneer Days |
|
|
Coronation and extend to all those involved sincere best wishes for |
|
|
a memorable celebration. |
