R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may |
|
comfort those saddened by the death of Maria G. Aguirre of Weslaco |
|
on January 31, 2013, at the age of 68; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born on October 25, 1944, to Anselmo and Gabina |
|
Granados, the former Maria Granados grew up with six sisters and two |
|
brothers; and |
|
WHEREAS, She met and married Horacio Aguirre, and the couple |
|
were blessed with three daughters, Mina, Loriann, and Sandra; over |
|
the years, their family further grew to include three grandchildren |
|
and two great-grandchildren; and |
|
WHEREAS, Maria Aguirre lived a caring and purposeful life, |
|
and she will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who |
|
held her close to their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Maria G. Aguirre and |
|
extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
|
daughters, Mina Garcia and her husband, Martin, Loriann Aguirre, |
|
and Sandra Aguirre and her husband, Humberto Arismendez; to her |
|
brothers, Jose and Mike Granados; to her sisters, Mary J. Gonzalez, |
|
Janie Sanchez, Elodia Rivera, Audi Flores, and Chris Nieto; to her |
|
three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and to her other |
|
relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Maria G. |
|
Aguirre. |
