R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Lee Ann Johnson of Marble Falls was awarded the |
|
Certified Association Executive credential by the American Society |
|
of Association Executives on January 31, 2013; and |
|
WHEREAS, Established in 1960, the CAE designation is the |
|
highest that can be attained by an association professional; to |
|
earn this title, an applicant must have a minimum of three years of |
|
experience managing a nonprofit organization, complete at least 100 |
|
hours of specialized career training, pass a rigorous examination, |
|
and pledge to uphold the CAE code of ethics; moreover, to maintain |
|
the credential, individuals must continue their involvement in |
|
nonprofit management and participate in ongoing studies and |
|
activities; and |
|
WHEREAS, The director of member services at the Texas Dental |
|
Association, Lee Ann Johnson has been employed in the industry for |
|
more than 25 years; before joining the TDA in 2001, she worked in |
|
the field services division of the Texas State Teachers |
|
Association; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through her achievement, Lee Ann Johnson has earned |
|
a place among the top five percent of association professionals, |
|
and in so doing, she has demonstrated a notable commitment to |
|
furthering her expertise and excelling in her field; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Lee Ann Johnson on her receipt of |
|
the Certified Association Executive credential from the American |
|
Society of Association Executives and extend to her sincere best |
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Johnson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
