R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The life of four-year-old Emma Catherine Grace |
|
|
Thompson came to a tragic end on June 27, 2009, and the passage of a |
|
|
law in her honor serves as a lasting memorial to her; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Emma captured the hearts of a host of admirers from |
|
|
the moment she was born on March 29, 2005; in time, she grew into a |
|
|
vibrant and delightful little girl whose long red hair offset her |
|
|
angelic smile; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With her sweet and happy nature, Emma brought joy to |
|
|
people everywhere she went, and although her time on this earth was |
|
|
far too brief, memories of this precious child will be forever |
|
|
treasured by the many people whose lives she touched; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Emma Catherine Grace |
|
|
Thompson; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Emma |
|
|
Catherine Grace Thompson. |
