R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Tyler Anthony Zreet of Georgetown has attained the |
|
|
rank of Eagle Scout, and this accomplishment truly merits special |
|
|
recognition; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant |
|
|
honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the |
|
|
scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding |
|
|
criteria, Mr. Zreet earned 26 merit badges, and he took part in 29 |
|
|
service projects totaling 146 hours of volunteer work; in addition, |
|
|
he successfully completed an Eagle Scout project in which he |
|
|
organized the construction of a picnic area for the Wesleyan at |
|
|
Estrella retirement home; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A junior at East View High School and congregant of |
|
|
Christ Lutheran Church, this fine young Texan is a Brotherhood |
|
|
Member of the Tonkawa Lodge, Order of the Arrow; he has demonstrated |
|
|
outstanding leadership ability throughout his scouting career, |
|
|
winning the respect and admiration of his fellow scouts as he worked |
|
|
toward the highest rank that scouting offers; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Zreet's dedication to excellence and his |
|
|
perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy to |
|
|
stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with pride |
|
|
on a job well done; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Tyler Anthony Zreet on achieving |
|
|
the rank of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Zreet as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
