R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Mike Stovall began his tenure as principal of
  Jarrell High School on February 11, 2013; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Stovall graduated from Caprock High School in
  Amarillo before enrolling at Friends University in Kansas, where he
  earned his bachelor's degree in English education in 1994; he then
  taught English and special education to students in Kansas and
  Texas public schools, and he was an associate principal and
  wrestling coach at Pampa High School before joining the Jarrell
  ISD; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Stovall now brings his professional expertise to
  the 273 enrolled students at Jarrell, and he is intent on
  "continuing to make Jarrell High School the best high school in the
  state of Texas"; and
         WHEREAS, In accepting this new position, Mike Stovall further
  demonstrates his deep commitment to learning, and he is sure to be a
  strong leader for Jarrell High School as it carries out its mission
  of educating the future leaders of our nation; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Mike Stovall on his appointment as
  principal of Jarrell High School and extend to him sincere best
  wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Stovall as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
