R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Mike Stovall began his tenure as principal of |
|
|
Jarrell High School on February 11, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Stovall graduated from Caprock High School in |
|
|
Amarillo before enrolling at Friends University in Kansas, where he |
|
|
earned his bachelor's degree in English education in 1994; he then |
|
|
taught English and special education to students in Kansas and |
|
|
Texas public schools, and he was an associate principal and |
|
|
wrestling coach at Pampa High School before joining the Jarrell |
|
|
ISD; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Stovall now brings his professional expertise to |
|
|
the 273 enrolled students at Jarrell, and he is intent on |
|
|
"continuing to make Jarrell High School the best high school in the |
|
|
state of Texas"; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In accepting this new position, Mike Stovall further |
|
|
demonstrates his deep commitment to learning, and he is sure to be a |
|
|
strong leader for Jarrell High School as it carries out its mission |
|
|
of educating the future leaders of our nation; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mike Stovall on his appointment as |
|
|
principal of Jarrell High School and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Stovall as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
