R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Bill Gravell began his new post as justice of the
  peace for Williamson County Precinct 3 on March 1, 2013; and
         WHEREAS, Unanimously elected to the position by the
  Williamson County Commissioners, Mr. Gravell will be responsible
  for hearing traffic and moving violations as well as civil cases; in
  addition, the Precinct 3 justice of the peace also supervises death
  inquests, juvenile truancy, evictions, and Texas Department of
  Transportation cases; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Gravell has worked as the 425th District Court
  Administrator and has a diverse background that qualified him for
  his current position; he served as pastor at Sonterra Fellowship
  Church in Jarrell, was a commissioner for Emergency Services
  District 5, and was the president of the Sonterra Municipal Utility
  District board of directors; and
         WHEREAS, Engaged in his community and dedicated to his
  profession, Bill Gravell is an inspiring leader, and he may indeed
  reflect with great pride on his notable achievements as he takes on
  his new role as justice of the peace; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Bill Gravell on his appointment as
  justice of the peace for Williamson County Precinct 3 and extend to
  him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Gravell as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
