R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, The passing of Benjamin Sanchez of El Paso on
  February 14, 2013, at the age of 57, brought a great loss to his
  family and many friends; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Carlos and Genoveva Sanchez, Mr. Sanchez
  was born in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and grew up in a large family
  that included nine brothers and four sisters; through the years, he
  welcomed many nieces and nephews, and he was a loving and devoted
  uncle; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Sanchez worked as a custodian at Cathedral High
  School for 12 years; a highly valued member of the staff, he always
  took time to encourage students, and he often gave lunch money to
  children in need; his ready smile brightened the days of everyone at
  the school; and
         WHEREAS, Thoughtful and caring, Benjamin Sanchez expressed
  his strong faith through his many acts of kindness; although he is
  deeply missed by all who were privileged to share in the richness of
  his life, memories of his warmth, compassion, and joy will remain a
  lasting source of inspiration; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Benjamin Sanchez and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  brothers, Arturo, Baltazar, Carlos, Agustin, Juan, Manuel, Raul,
  and Salvador; to his sisters, Graciela, Maria Teresa, Rosa Maria,
  and Maria Elena; and to his many other relatives and friends; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the members of his family and that when the Texas House
  of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Benjamin
  Sanchez.
