R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may
  temper the profound sadness that the death of Samuel Bledsoe on
  November 19, 2012, brings to all who loved him; and
         WHEREAS, "Bud" Bledsoe was born on December 7, 1928, in
  Billings, Oklahoma, to Dewey and Martha Bledsoe; a successful
  businessman, Mr. Bledsoe worked in the grocery business in Muscle
  Shoals, Alabama, Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Big Sandy, Texas, where
  he owned Two Rivers Grocery; after his retirement, he made his home
  in Pittsburg, Texas; and
         WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. Bledsoe enjoyed the love and
  support of his wife, Beth Bledsoe, who preceded him in death; the
  couple raised seven children, Stan, Dean, Curtis, Vicki, Marty,
  Becky, and Blake, and their family also grew to include 16
  grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Although Bud Bledsoe will be deeply missed,
  cherished memories of time spent in his company will long endure in
  the hearts of all those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Samuel Bledsoe and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his
  children, Stan, Dean, and Curtis Bledsoe, Vicki Maxson, Marty
  Walorski, and Becky Hollingsworth; to his sisters, Betty June Dixon
  and Joanie Forga; to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and
  to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Samuel
  Bledsoe.
