First Baptist Church in Garland, Hope Clinic is a full-service
health care facility that treats uninsured area residents; through
the contributions of some 38 volunteer physicians, 2 part-time paid
doctors, and many donations and grants, the clinic provides a wide
range of services from pediatrics to dermatology to cardiology and
  more; and
WHEREAS, In addition to offering direct services, the clinic
cooperates with a variety of other agencies to ensure that patients
receive comprehensive care; the staff helps patients obtain

Garland; Hope now also benefits from the generous support of seven
area churches and the proceeds of an annual prayer breakfast; and
WHEREAS, The work of the clinic has expanded greatly to meet
