R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Ronnie and Diane Harris Lamb of |
|
|
Greenville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 20, |
|
|
2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lamb were united in matrimony in 1963; |
|
|
through the years, they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that |
|
|
has been made even richer with the addition of three daughters, |
|
|
Cindy Lamb, Kristi Lamb, and Rhonda McGriff; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Lamb worked for Consolidated Freightways for |
|
|
years before retiring, and Mrs. Lamb is a beautician; they are |
|
|
members of Park Street Baptist Church; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|
|
half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant |
|
|
in their commitment to each other, and the strength of their love |
|
|
has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with |
|
|
grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ronnie and Diane Lamb on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Lamb as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
