R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Mary and Fred Satterwhite celebrated their 55th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on March 1, 2013, and they may indeed reflect |
|
|
with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Fred Satterwhite and the former Mary Guillet |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Andrews in 1958, and over the |
|
|
course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving |
|
|
life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Satterwhite count among their |
|
|
blessings a fine family that includes their children, Kim |
|
|
Williamson and her husband, Kim, Scott Satterwhite and his wife, |
|
|
Ami, Mitchell Satterwhite and his wife, Mary, and Robin Satterwhite |
|
|
and his wife, Lori, as well as their 13 grandchildren and 9 |
|
|
great-grandchildren, with whom they share the many special |
|
|
occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For five and half decades, Fred and Mary Satterwhite |
|
|
have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, |
|
|
and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mary and Fred Satterwhite on their |
|
|
55th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Satterwhite as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
