R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, David and Juanita Bell of Lubbock celebrated their |
|
|
65th wedding anniversary on March 3, 2013, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, David Bell and the former Juanita Norman exchanged |
|
|
the vows of matrimony at a ceremony held in Lubbock in 1948, and |
|
|
over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a |
|
|
loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bell are the parents of three children, |
|
|
Karanne Grubbs, Dave Bell, and the late Terri Bell, and through the |
|
|
years their family has grown to include six grandchildren and seven |
|
|
great-grandchildren, with whom they treasure sharing many special |
|
|
occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six and a half decades, Mr. and Mrs. Bell have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate David and Juanita Bell on their |
|
|
65th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bell as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
