R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Tommy and Sharron Massey of Lubbock celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on March 10, 2013, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Tommy Massey and the former Sharron Carnes exchanged |
|
|
the vows of matrimony at a ceremony held in Odessa in 1963, and over |
|
|
the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving |
|
|
life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Massey count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes two sons, James Justin Massey and Timothy |
|
|
Darrell Massey, Sr., three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild, |
|
|
with whom they treasure sharing many special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Tommy and Sharron Massey have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Tommy and Sharron Massey on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Massey as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
