R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |
|
|
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Richard and Helen |
|
|
Fisher of Greenville celebrated this joyous milestone in their |
|
|
marriage on March 16, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher were joined in matrimony in 1963 |
|
|
at a ceremony held in San Antonio; through the years, they have been |
|
|
blessed with a treasured family that includes four children, Brian |
|
|
Fisher and his wife, Maria, Michael Fisher and his wife, Carla, |
|
|
Kristina Bily and her husband, David, and Janet McKay and her |
|
|
husband, Brian; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Fisher is |
|
|
retired from E-Systems, and together he and Mrs. Fisher run Helen |
|
|
Fisher Antiques; in their free time, they enjoy traveling and |
|
|
doting on their eight grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher have enjoyed half a century of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Richard and Helen Fisher on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Fisher as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
