R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kaitlyn Jordan of Pilot Point High School has been |
|
|
named the 2013 Outstanding Senior Girl by the Pilot Point Chamber of |
|
|
Commerce; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A leader among her fellow students, Ms. Jordan |
|
|
serves on the student council and has been a member of the National |
|
|
Honor Society for two years; she competes in volleyball, track, and |
|
|
cross-country for the Bearcats and is a member of the Fellowship of |
|
|
Christian Athletes; she also participates in competitive |
|
|
cheerleading and has been named an All-American Cheerleader by the |
|
|
National Cheerleaders Association; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Jordan further distinguishes herself through |
|
|
her community service, having volunteered for the Pilot Point |
|
|
Fireman's Fest, the Salvation Army Feed the Hungry program, Pilot |
|
|
Point's Bonnie & Clyde Days festival, and the Keep Pilot Point |
|
|
Beautiful Trash-Off; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Demonstrating hard work and dedication, Kaitlyn |
|
|
Jordan has built an impressive record of accomplishment, and she |
|
|
may indeed look forward to a future bright with promise; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kaitlyn Jordan on her selection as |
|
|
the 2013 Outstanding Senior Girl by the Pilot Point Chamber of |
|
|
Commerce and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success and achievement; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Jordan as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
