R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Veronica Page celebrated a significant milestone in |
|
|
her life in December 2012, when she graduated from Texas State |
|
|
University--San Marcos with a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
interdisciplinary studies in curriculum and instruction; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding scholar earned dean's list honors |
|
|
each semester at Texas State and graduated summa cum laude with a |
|
|
grade point average of 3.96; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An alumna of Thorndale High School, Ms. Page is the |
|
|
daughter of proud parents Kenneth and Valerie Page; she was a |
|
|
student in the College of Education at Texas State University and |
|
|
plans to pursue a career in education; she minored in English and |
|
|
also was a videographer for the football team; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await Ms. |
|
|
Page, and it is a pleasure to join her family and friends in |
|
|
recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with promise; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Veronica Page on her graduation |
|
|
from Texas State University--San Marcos and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Page as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
