R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Lamson Institute of San Antonio is a private |
|
|
vocational education school; licensed by the Texas Workforce |
|
|
Commission, it provides courses for students pursuing work as |
|
|
electrical technicians, lab assistants, medical assistants, and |
|
|
office assistants; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to its educational services, the |
|
|
institute also provides career placement guidance for recent |
|
|
graduates and assists students by helping them build their resumes, |
|
|
attend career fairs, and learn interviewing techniques; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The ongoing prosperity of the Lone Star State |
|
|
depends on a skilled workforce, and vocational training such as |
|
|
that offered at this institution is a critical component of |
|
|
education; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize the Lamson Institute in San Antonio |
|
|
and extend sincere best wishes for the future to its students, |
|
|
faculty, and staff; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
