R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
of Bobby W. Gant of Houston, who passed away on January 24, 2012, at |
|
the age of 57; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Gerald and Joyce Gant, Bobby Gant was born |
|
on April 7, 1954, in Lawton, Oklahoma, and grew up in the company of |
|
three brothers and two sisters; he was employed by Gestetner Ricoh |
|
for more than three decades; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Gant was a caring father to his son, Patrick, |
|
with whom he shared many happy times, and he enjoyed a rewarding |
|
marriage with his wife, Linda; and |
|
WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share in the friendship |
|
and love of Bobby Gant will always remember him with great |
|
admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Bobby W. Gant and |
|
extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, |
|
Linda Gant; to his son, Patrick Gant, and his wife, Crystal; to his |
|
siblings and their spouses, Tony and Margie Gant, Gerry and Linda |
|
Gant, Bennie and Miriam Gant, Gaylynn and Frank Adams, and Lorrie |
|
Thompson; to his father-in-law, Robert Knowles; to his |
|
brother-in-law, David Knowles, and his wife, Suzanne; to his nieces |
|
and nephews; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bobby W. |
|
Gant. |
