R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may |
|
comfort those saddened by the death of Sherrie P. Puckett of |
|
Houston on December 29, 2011, at the age of 71; and |
|
WHEREAS, A loving wife and mother, Mrs. Puckett shared a warm |
|
relationship with her husband, Jerry; the couple enjoyed many happy |
|
years together and were blessed with two sons, Craig and Kirk, and a |
|
granddaughter, Genevieve; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Puckett was known for her kindness and |
|
generosity; even when her health deteriorated, she continued to |
|
lift the spirits of less fortunate individuals by sending gifts and |
|
greetings; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sherrie Puckett lived a caring and purposeful life, |
|
and she will forever hold a treasured place in the hearts of those |
|
privileged to have known her; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Sherrie P. Puckett |
|
and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
|
husband, Jerry Puckett; to her sons, Craig Puckett and Kirk Puckett |
|
and his wife, Sativa; to her granddaughter, Genevieve; to her |
|
sister, Marcia Lee Cobb; and to her other relatives and many |
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Sherrie P. |
|
Puckett. |
