R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Anita Whitus Huff of Mineola, who passed away on February 16,
  2013, at the age of 76; and
         WHEREAS, The former Anita Whitus was born in Lindale on
  December 27, 1936, to E. O. and Grace Whitus; she was a valued
  resident of the Mineola community, where she was a devout member of
  New Hope Baptist Church and she delivered mail for the United States
  Postal Service until her retirement in 1995; and
         WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Mrs. Huff enjoyed the support
  of her husband, James, until his passing in 1975; she was devoted to
  her children, James, Jerry, Janice, and Ellen, and over the passing
  years, she also took great joy in welcoming into her family 10
  grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Anita Huff lived a caring and purposeful life, and
  she will forever be remembered with deep affection by all those who
  held her close to their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Anita Whitus Huff
  and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
  children, James Huff, Jr., and his wife, Loretta, Jerry Huff and his
  wife, Brenda, Janice Huff, and Ellen Brooke and her husband, Steve;
  to her brother, E. F. Whitus; to her grandchildren and
  great-grandchildren; and to her other relatives and friends; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Anita
  Whitus Huff.
