R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Members of the Kaffie Middle School community joined |
|
|
together on March 5, 2013, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the |
|
|
school's founding; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Part of the Corpus Christi Independent School |
|
|
District, Kaffie Middle School has helped to provide a strong |
|
|
educational foundation for area youth, and today serves more than |
|
|
900 students in the sixth through eighth grades; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The school benefits from the able leadership of |
|
|
current principal Kelly Manlove and assistant principals Anna |
|
|
Aguilera, Lynette Doering, and Jacob Perez III; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For 25 years, Kaffie Middle School has helped to |
|
|
shape the leaders of tomorrow, and all those associated with the |
|
|
institution, both past and present, can take great pride in its rich |
|
|
history; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kaffie Middle School on the 25th |
|
|
anniversary of its founding and extend to its students, faculty, |
|
|
and staff sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
