R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Friends and family were greatly saddened by the
  death of Terrance Arthur Wunsch of Katy, who passed away on June 24,
  2012, at the age of 76; and
         WHEREAS, Terry Wunsch was born on December 18, 1935, in
  Rozellville, Wisconsin, to Peter and Agnes Wunsch; he was joined in
  marriage to the former Gloria O'Brien, and they enjoyed a rewarding
  relationship that spanned 56 years; the couple raised five
  children, Kathleen, Brian, Patricia, Daniel, and Michael, and later
  welcomed six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren into their
  family; and
         WHEREAS, In the course of his career in the financial
  services industry, Mr. Wunsch was president of the Milwaukee Retail
  Credit Association, and after moving to the Lone Star State, he
  became owner and president of Collections Unlimited of Texas;
  active in the American Collectors Association, he served as
  president of its Texas unit and contributed to the work of the
  international board of directors and of the honorary membership and
  political action committees; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Wunsch took an interest in governmental issues
  and worked closely with his representative during the 82nd
  Legislative Session on a bill that directed school districts to
  consider whether a vendor was based in Texas when awarding
  contracts for goods and services; and
         WHEREAS, He was also a prominent figure in Toastmasters
  International, in which he held a number of leadership roles, and a
  member of the speakers bureau for the United Way and St. Jude's
  Children's Hospital; and
         WHEREAS, A resident of Katy for 38 years, Mr. Wunsch attended
  Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, where he served as a lector;
  in his leisure time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting,
  traveling, and spending time with his family and his dog, Harley;
  and
         WHEREAS, Terry Wunsch led a life that was rich in personal and
  professional achievements, and his sense of humor and upbeat
  personality will be deeply missed by all those who were fortunate
  enough to know him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Terrance Arthur
  Wunsch and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to
  his wife, Gloria O'Brien Wunsch; to his children, Kathleen Nelson
  and her husband, Kenneth, Brian Wunsch, Patricia Secor and her
  husband, Timothy, Daniel Wunsch, and Michael Wunsch; to his
  grandchildren, Natalie Martin, Kelly Wunsch, Elizabeth Nelson,
  Stephanie Secor, Drew Nelson, and Jessica Secor; to his
  great-grandchildren, Riley Martin and Kennedy Magee; to his
  brothers, Mickey Wunsch, David Wunsch and his wife, Brenda, Alan
  Wunsch and his wife, Bonnie, and Randy Wunsch and his wife, Dianne;
  to his sisters-in-law, Mary Wunsch and Shirley Wunsch; and to his
  other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Terrance
  Wunsch.
