R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Roy and Wanda Hobbs of Greenville celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on April 5, 2013, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Roy Gene Hobbs and the former Wanda Faye Beasley |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony in 1963; they were blessed with two |
|
|
sons, Royce and Ricky, and over the passing years, they have taken |
|
|
great joy in welcoming into their family three grandchildren and a |
|
|
great-grandchild; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Hobbs is |
|
|
retired from the Union Pacific Railroad and Mrs. Hobbs is retired |
|
|
from tenures with Henson's and Haggar's; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Roy and Wanda Hobbs have brought |
|
|
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Roy and Wanda Hobbs on their golden |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hobbs as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
