R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Jim and Donna Biffle of Muenster were honored at the
  26th annual Celebration of Catholic Schools on January 26, 2013,
  for their exceptional service to the Sacred Heart Catholic School
  community; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Biffle have earned the praise of Sacred
  Heart faculty and staff for their constant willingness to aid the
  school in any way possible; in their more than 25-year affiliation
  with the institution, they have made myriad contributions, from
  organizing events for the Montessori preschool to coordinating
  preparations for prom to overseeing students working on their Eagle
  Scout projects; and
         WHEREAS, This dedicated couple also volunteer their time with
  a number of organizations outside of Sacred Heart; Mrs. Biffle is a
  member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and the St. Anne's
  Society, and she serves on the library board; moreover, she has
  taught Red Cross swimming lessons for 15 years; Mr. Biffle shares
  his expertise with others as a member of the Guaranty National Bank
  Advisory Board; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Biffle have enjoyed three decades of
  marriage, and they count among their blessings a fine family that
  includes three children, Jack, Jayna, and Josh, as well as two
  grandchildren, Bella and Barrett; and
         WHEREAS, Setting an example of engagement to which others may
  aspire, Mr. and Mrs. Biffle have immeasurably benefited Sacred
  Heart students and faculty through their tireless service, and in
  so doing, they have gained the lasting respect and admiration of all
  those who are privileged to know them; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Jim and Donna Biffle for their efforts
  in behalf of Sacred Heart Catholic School and extend to them sincere
  best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Biffle as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
