R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Fred and Erika Brown of Lubbock celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on March 23, 2013, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Fred Brown and the former Erika Marie Hampel |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1963, and |
|
|
over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a |
|
|
loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Brown count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes two daughters, Deanna Tucker and Karen |
|
|
Miller and her husband, Kerry, a son, Mike Brown, and his wife, |
|
|
Melissa, seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Fred and Erika Brown have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Fred and Erika Brown on their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Brown as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
