R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Edward Anderson and Sharon Anderson of Lubbock |
|
|
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 13, 2013, and |
|
|
they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they |
|
|
have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Edward Anderson and the former Sharon Sanders |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 1963, |
|
|
and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other |
|
|
a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Anderson count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes three children and their spouses, David |
|
|
and Barbara Anderson, Julie and Brad Brinzo, and Jill and Richard |
|
|
Compton, as well as six grandchildren, with whom they treasure |
|
|
sharing many special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Edward and Sharon Anderson have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Edward and Sharon Anderson on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. and Mrs. Anderson as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
