R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Wyley and Mildred Mauldin of Lubbock celebrated |
|
|
their 60th wedding anniversary on April 5, 2013, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Wyley Mauldin and the former Mildred Beall exchanged |
|
|
the vows of matrimony at a ceremony held at Central United Methodist |
|
|
Church in Dalhart in 1953, and over the course of their marriage, |
|
|
they have found in each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Mauldin count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their children and their spouses, Larry, |
|
|
Mike and his wife, Beverly, Paul and his wife, Shannon, Julie and |
|
|
her husband, Kirk, and Janet and her husband, James, as well as 13 |
|
|
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six decades, Wyley and Mildred Mauldin have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Wyley and Mildred Mauldin on their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
|
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Mauldin as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
