R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Larry and Judy Turner of Sparenberg |
|
|
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 16, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Larry Turner and the former Judy Koehler were united |
|
|
in matrimony at Klondike Baptist Church in 1963; through the years, |
|
|
they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even |
|
|
richer with the addition of two children and their spouses, Lane and |
|
|
Kim Turner and M'Lyn and Kris Hefner, as well as five grandchildren; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Valued residents of Sparenberg throughout their |
|
|
marriage, Mr. Turner is a farmer and Mrs. Turner is retired from the |
|
|
Klondike Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While innumerable changes have taken place in the |
|
|
world during the past half-century, this devoted husband and wife |
|
|
have remained constant in their commitment to each other, and the |
|
|
strength of their love has enabled them to meet life's challenges |
|
|
and opportunities with grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Larry and Judy Turner on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Turner as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
