R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A number of outstanding Aubrey High School students |
|
|
have earned scholarships from the Denton County Livestock |
|
|
Association and the Blue Ribbon Club; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the organizations recognize young men and |
|
|
women who have distinguished themselves through their |
|
|
participation in the area Youth Fair and Rodeo; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The 2013 honorees include Family, Career and |
|
|
Community Leaders of America participants Elena Velez, Maria Lopez, |
|
|
Andrea Sholin, and Ana DeLeon, and FFA members Levi Collins and |
|
|
Kelly Priest; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These notable young Texans have demonstrated a |
|
|
commendable dedication and perseverance in pursuit of their goals, |
|
|
and they are a source of great pride to their families and school; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Aubrey High School recipients |
|
|
of the Denton County Livestock Association and the Blue Ribbon Club |
|
|
scholarships and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared |
|
|
for the students as an expression of high regard by the Texas House |
|
|
of Representatives. |
