R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Charles Henry Mund, who passed away on May 16, 2012, at the age of
  80; and
         WHEREAS, "Tart" Mund was born in Schleicher County on May 20,
  1931; a well-known businessman in New Braunfels, he owned and
  operated Odorless Cleaners and Over-All Realty; in addition, he
  served his fellow citizens as a county commissioner and as a
  sheriff's deputy in charge of warrants; and
         WHEREAS, Fun-loving and gregarious, Mr. Mund enjoyed a
  wealth of friends and his community involvement included membership
  in the First Protestant Church as well as participation in
  Wurstfest, Soirees, the Morning Coffee Bunch, and the Friday Night
  Gang; and
         WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, he enjoyed the love and
  support of his family; he and his wife, the late Wallie Gerlich
  Mund, had two children, Anne and Jeff, and their family later grew
  to include four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren;
  devoted to his loved ones, he took great pleasure in spending time
  with them as well as in his farm "Tick Acres"; and
         WHEREAS, Although Tart Mund is deeply missed, he leaves
  behind a legacy to treasure for those who held him dear; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Charles Henry "Tart" 
  Mund and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to
  his children, Anne Louise Miller and her husband, Doug, and Jeff
  Mund and his wife, Denise; to his grandchildren, Douglas Miller and
  his wife, LeAnn, Brandon Mund and his wife, Shelley, Kristopher
  Mund and his wife, Dawn, and Amanda Miller; to his
  great-grandchildren, Peyton, Madison, and Ashton Mund and McKinley
  Miller; to his sisters-in-law, Madelyn Harris and Norma Lynn Mund;
  to his numerous nieces and nephews; and to his other relatives and
  many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the members of his family and that when the Texas House
  of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Tart
  Mund.
