R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sloan Braband has ably served his fellow Texans as |
|
|
an intern in the office of State Representative Jim Murphy during |
|
|
the 83rd Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff in the fall of 2012, |
|
|
Mr. Braband has contributed to the workings of state government |
|
|
firsthand; in addition to learning more about the legislative |
|
|
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he |
|
|
has gained valuable experience in the field of public service; a |
|
|
freshman at The University of Texas at Austin and himself a |
|
|
constituent of Representative Murphy's, he has used his unique |
|
|
perspective to great advantage in his many successful dealings with |
|
|
others residing in House District 133; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Sloan Braband for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Jim Murphy |
|
|
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
|
|
his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Braband as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
