R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislature, Jason Briggs has ably |
|
|
served his fellow Texans as legislative director in the office of |
|
|
State Representative Jim Murphy; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The calm professionalism and close attention to |
|
|
detail demonstrated by Mr. Briggs are greatly appreciated by his |
|
|
colleagues, and his skill at shepherding legislation through the |
|
|
process is a valuable asset that benefits all Texans; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Briggs has further distinguished himself |
|
|
through his hard work with the House Interim Committee on |
|
|
Manufacturing, which was chaired by Representative Murphy; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The experience and expertise that this esteemed |
|
|
public employee brings to his duties as legislative director are |
|
|
notable, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his |
|
|
fine efforts; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Jason Briggs for his service as |
|
|
legislative director for Representative Jim Murphy and extend to |
|
|
him warmest best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Briggs as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
