R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Sarah Aimad has |
|
|
ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Jim Murphy; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Aimad has contributed |
|
|
to the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to |
|
|
learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing |
|
|
citizens of the Lone Star State, this University of Houston student |
|
|
has gained valuable work experience in the field of public service |
|
|
as the communications director for the office; she handles all |
|
|
social media activities in the office, manages the Twitter and |
|
|
Facebook accounts, and works on a weekly newsletter that keeps |
|
|
constituents informed on legislative activities and our state's |
|
|
most pressing issues; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan has performed her duties |
|
|
as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Sarah Aimad for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern for State Representative Jim Murphy and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Aimad as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
