R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Many lives were touched by the kindness and |
|
generosity of Mary Lou Trevino of Robstown, who passed away on |
|
September 24, 2012, at the age of 75; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Robstown on October 13, 1936, Mary Lou |
|
Trevino was the daughter of Crisanto and Leonides Arambides Vela; |
|
she worked as a cook with the Robstown Independent School District |
|
and retired after 15 years of dedicated service; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Trevino shared a long and rewarding marriage |
|
with her husband, Pedro F. Trevino, Jr., and she was the mother of |
|
seven children, Pedro, Delia, Norma, Victoria, Oscar, Jerry, and |
|
Diana; she later had the pleasure of welcoming into her family 16 |
|
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and she enjoyed |
|
reminiscing about her younger days as a fast-pitch softball player |
|
while watching her grandchildren compete in sports; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mary Lou Trevino was a positive force in the lives of |
|
her friends and loved ones, and she will always be remembered with |
|
great admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Mary Lou Trevino and |
|
extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her |
|
husband, Pedro F. Trevino, Jr.; to her children, Pedro F. Trevino |
|
III and his wife, Sandra, Delia Sepulveda and her husband, Omar, |
|
Norma Trevino, Victoria Pesina and her husband, Ernesto, and Oscar |
|
Trevino and his wife, Maribel; to her grandchildren and |
|
great-grandchildren; and to her other relatives and friends; and, |
|
be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mary Lou |
|
Trevino. |
