R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Alissa Hale has |
|
|
ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Drew Springer; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Hale has contributed to |
|
|
the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to learning |
|
|
more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens |
|
|
of the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable experience in the |
|
|
field of public service; throughout the session, she has completed |
|
|
all of her tasks, from researching bills to assessing legislation, |
|
|
with talent and commitment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Hale is pursuing a degree in public relations at |
|
|
The University of Texas at Austin, where she has achieved a GPA of |
|
|
nearly 4.0 and has been named to the College of Communication Dean's |
|
|
Honors List each semester since the fall of 2011; she has previously |
|
|
served as a public relations intern for Ms. Wheelchair Texas, and |
|
|
she now manages three simultaneous internships, in addition to |
|
|
maintaining her high standard of academic achievement; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Alissa Hale for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Drew |
|
|
Springer and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Hale as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
