R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Alissa Hale has
  ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State
  Representative Drew Springer; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Hale has contributed to
  the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to learning
  more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
  of the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable experience in the
  field of public service; throughout the session, she has completed
  all of her tasks, from researching bills to assessing legislation,
  with talent and commitment; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Hale is pursuing a degree in public relations at
  The University of Texas at Austin, where she has achieved a GPA of
  nearly 4.0 and has been named to the College of Communication Dean's
  Honors List each semester since the fall of 2011; she has previously
  served as a public relations intern for Ms. Wheelchair Texas, and
  she now manages three simultaneous internships, in addition to
  maintaining her high standard of academic achievement; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Alissa Hale for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Drew
  Springer and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
  success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Hale as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
