R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The loved ones of Kenneth Wyane Vincent of |
|
|
Livingston were greatly saddened by his passing on April 9, 2013, at |
|
|
the age of 64; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Kenneth Vincent was born in Laurel, Mississippi, on |
|
|
December 13, 1948, to Charles and Hazel Taylor Vincent; a veteran of |
|
|
the U.S. Army, this talented and able Texan took pride in his home, |
|
|
which he built with his own hands; he also enjoyed listening to |
|
|
country music, playing the guitar, and riding motorcycles; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In 1969, Mr. Vincent married the former Beverly Gay |
|
|
in Channelview, and they went on to share more than four decades |
|
|
together; through the years, their family grew to include 3 sons, |
|
|
Mark, Billy, and Timothy, and 2 daughters, Kelly and Karen, as well |
|
|
as 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Kenneth Vincent led a life that was rich in the |
|
|
intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those |
|
|
who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Kenneth Wyane |
|
|
Vincent of Livingston and extend sincere sympathy to the members of |
|
|
his family: to his wife, Beverly Vincent; to his sons, Billy Vincent |
|
|
and his wife, Danielle, Mark Vincent and his wife, Amanda, and |
|
|
Timothy Vincent and his wife, Kristy; to his daughter, Kelly Nicole |
|
|
Anderson, and her husband, Bill; to his grandchildren, Casey, |
|
|
Laikin, Lauren, Hayden, Taylor, Aron, Mariam, Paiton, Shaylin, |
|
|
Dylan, Joshua, Daniel, Brooke, Jesse, and Emma; to his |
|
|
great-grandchildren, Bryson, Kendall, and Brylie; to his brother, |
|
|
Jerry Vincent; to his sisters, Lois Brooks and Sue Perez; and to his |
|
|
other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Kenneth |
|
|
Vincent. |
