R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of
  Esperanza Castro of Moscow, Texas, who died on April 5, 2013, at the
  age of 70; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Mexico on February 18, 1943, to Aureliano
  Duran and Socorro Parrales Duran, Esperanza Duran was joined in
  matrimony with Miguel Castro, and she was the loving mother of three
  sons, Lionel, Fredi, and Gustavo, and three daughters, Matilde,
  Veronica, and Lucia; and
         WHEREAS, This gracious woman devoted her life to caring for
  her home and her family, and she took special delight in cooking for
  her loved ones and tending to her garden and her flowers; and
         WHEREAS, Esperanza Castro possessed a generosity of spirit
  that expressed itself in myriad ways, and many lives were enriched
  by her warmth and affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Esperanza Castro and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  husband, Miguel Castro; to her sons, Lionel Castro and his wife,
  Josefina, Fredi Castro and his wife, Rosa, and Gustavo Castro; to
  her daughters, Matilde Duran, Veronica Solis and her husband, Noe,
  and Lucia Gonzalez and her husband, Carlos; to her brothers, Carlos
  Duran, Agustin Duran, Marcelino Duran, Ruperto Duran, Miguel Duran,
  Angel Duran, and Luis Duran; to her sisters, Josefina Duran, Elvia
  Duran, and Sabina Duran; to her 13 grandchildren and 2
  great-grandchildren; and to her other relatives and friends; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Esperanza
  Castro.
