R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of |
|
Esperanza Castro of Moscow, Texas, who died on April 5, 2013, at the |
|
age of 70; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Mexico on February 18, 1943, to Aureliano |
|
Duran and Socorro Parrales Duran, Esperanza Duran was joined in |
|
matrimony with Miguel Castro, and she was the loving mother of three |
|
sons, Lionel, Fredi, and Gustavo, and three daughters, Matilde, |
|
Veronica, and Lucia; and |
|
WHEREAS, This gracious woman devoted her life to caring for |
|
her home and her family, and she took special delight in cooking for |
|
her loved ones and tending to her garden and her flowers; and |
|
WHEREAS, Esperanza Castro possessed a generosity of spirit |
|
that expressed itself in myriad ways, and many lives were enriched |
|
by her warmth and affection; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Esperanza Castro and |
|
extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her |
|
husband, Miguel Castro; to her sons, Lionel Castro and his wife, |
|
Josefina, Fredi Castro and his wife, Rosa, and Gustavo Castro; to |
|
her daughters, Matilde Duran, Veronica Solis and her husband, Noe, |
|
and Lucia Gonzalez and her husband, Carlos; to her brothers, Carlos |
|
Duran, Agustin Duran, Marcelino Duran, Ruperto Duran, Miguel Duran, |
|
Angel Duran, and Luis Duran; to her sisters, Josefina Duran, Elvia |
|
Duran, and Sabina Duran; to her 13 grandchildren and 2 |
|
great-grandchildren; and to her other relatives and friends; and, |
|
be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Esperanza |
|
Castro. |
