R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, John Roberts of Santa Fe, Texas, has been named an |
|
|
Everyday Hero by the Galveston County Daily News; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Those individuals who give freely of their time and |
|
|
talents to benefit others make the world a better place through |
|
|
their actions and their example, and Mr. Roberts is indeed one such |
|
|
person; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Compassionate and generous, this notable Texan has |
|
|
enriched many lives, and in so doing, he has earned the deep respect |
|
|
and appreciation of his fellow residents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate John Roberts on earning the title |
|
|
of Everyday Hero from the Galveston County Daily News and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Roberts as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
