R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Galveston County Sheriff's Office Mental Health |
|
|
Division has earned the title of Community Champion from the |
|
|
Galveston County Daily News; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A vital program of the Sheriff's Office, the Mental |
|
|
Health Division works to help individuals in crisis avoid |
|
|
incarceration; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The department benefits from the dedicated efforts |
|
|
of Reserve Captain Booker T. Joseph, investigator Krystal Stinson, |
|
|
Lieutenant Jaime Castro, investigator Jamie Crabtree, investigator |
|
|
Wayne Cook, Sergeant David Ramirez, and administrative assistant |
|
|
Brenda Hughes; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These notable Texans have made a positive difference |
|
|
in many lives, and it is a pleasure to honor them for their |
|
|
contributions to their fellow residents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Galveston County Sheriff's |
|
|
Office Mental Health Division on earning the Community Champion |
|
|
Award from the Galveston County Daily News and extend to all those |
|
|
associated with the group best wishes for continued success; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the division as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
