R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Steve Mataro has been named a Community Champion by |
|
|
the Galveston County Daily News; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Those individuals who give freely of their time and |
|
|
talents to benefit others make the world a better place through |
|
|
their actions and their example, and Mr. Mataro is one such person; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his work rebuilding homes in the wake of |
|
|
Hurricane Ike, this notable Texan has demonstrated outstanding |
|
|
leadership and generosity of spirit and has earned the heartfelt |
|
|
admiration of all who know him; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Compassionate and dedicated, Mr. Mataro has |
|
|
enriched many lives, and it is a pleasure to honor him for his |
|
|
contributions to his fellow citizens; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Steve Mataro on his designation as |
|
|
a Community Champion by the Galveston County Daily News and extend |
|
|
to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Mataro as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
