R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Angela Brown has been named a Community Champion by |
|
|
the Galveston County Daily News; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Those individuals who give freely of their time and |
|
|
talents to benefit others make the world a better place through |
|
|
their actions and their example, and Ms. Brown is one such person; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her work as founder of Galveston Sustainable |
|
|
Communities Alliance, this notable Texan has demonstrated |
|
|
outstanding leadership and generosity of spirit and has earned the |
|
|
heartfelt admiration of all who know her; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Compassionate and dedicated, Ms. Brown has enriched |
|
|
many lives, and it is a pleasure to honor her for her contributions |
|
|
to her fellow citizens; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Angela Brown on her designation as |
|
|
a Community Champion by the Galveston County Daily News and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Brown as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
