R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Andrew Edoimioya has been selected to receive the |
|
|
Leslie P. Daughtry Scholarship in recognition of his hard work and |
|
|
commitment to academic excellence; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established in memory of former Galveston County |
|
|
Daily News publisher Leslie P. Daughtry, the scholarship honors |
|
|
outstanding college-bound seniors from each of the area's public |
|
|
and private high schools; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Edoimioya is a student at Clear Falls High |
|
|
School, where he has demonstrated tremendous drive and dedication |
|
|
in achieving his goals; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A source of tremendous pride to his family, this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan may take justifiable pride in his |
|
|
achievements and look forward with optimism to the challenges and |
|
|
opportunities that lie ahead; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Andrew Edoimioya on receiving the |
|
|
Leslie P. Daughtry Scholarship and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Edoimioya as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
