R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, April 21, 2012, was indeed a special day for Lindsay
  Ann Smith and Bradley Allen Pepper of Houston, for on that day they
  exchanged their wedding vows and embarked on a new life together as
  husband and wife; and
         WHEREAS, The couple were married in the chapel at the
  University of Virginia, the groom's alma mater, and the ceremony
  was officiated by the Reverend Sean Patrick Horrigan; members of
  the wedding party included maid of honor Christine Mary Smith,
  bridesmaids Eleanor Bullard Essalih, Hayley Jane Dickson, Alyssa
  Slavik Tesei, Caitlin McNamara Bossy, and Kara Lynn Dempsey, best
  man William Gregory Flagge, groomsmen Hassan Anthony Essalih,
  Dr. Aaron Duane Coe, Ashley Baldwin Peck, Brandon John Newton, and
  Walter Theo Xavier Slawski, and ushers John Edward English, Cory
  Garrett Kennedy, and George Wyndham Smith, Jr.; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Pepper is the daughter of the late Hazel Ann
  Alt Smith and Gavin Harris Smith and his wife, Stephanie Smith, and
  she is the granddaughter of Mary Florence Alt; Mr. Pepper is the son
  of Paul Ormont and Judith Elaine Flagge and Harvey Dewitt and
  Matcine Pepper, and the grandson of William Lawrence and Lorraine
  Flagge; the bride and groom met in North Carolina in 2006 and now
  share their home with two beloved dogs, Brody and Jackson; and
         WHEREAS, Lindsay and Bradley Pepper have brightened each
  other's lives with laughter, kindness, and devotion, and the
  strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more joyful
  times await them; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Lindsay and Bradley Pepper on their
  marriage and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued
  happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Pepper as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
