R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
|
passing of Kenneth John Nielsen of Coldspring on April 11, 2013, at |
|
|
the age of 90; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Nick Cornelius Nielsen, Kenneth Nielsen |
|
|
was born on November 4, 1922, in Iowa; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A devoted father, Mr. Nielsen was blessed with four |
|
|
children, Kenneth, Keith, Alan, and Mary, and he also took great |
|
|
pride in his stepson, Ricky; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Although Kenneth Nielsen will be deeply missed, |
|
|
cherished memories of time spent in his company will long endure in |
|
|
the hearts of his family and friends; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Kenneth John |
|
|
Nielsen and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to |
|
|
his children, Kenneth Nielsen II, Keith Nielsen and his wife, |
|
|
Cindy, Alan Nielsen and his wife, Belinda, and Mary Shaw and her |
|
|
husband, Sammy; to his stepson, Ricky Carter; and to his many other |
|
|
relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Kenneth |
|
|
John Nielsen. |
