R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, During the 83rd Legislative Session, Molly Karol
  Spratt has ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office
  of State Representative Dan Huberty; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Spratt has contributed
  to the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to
  learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing
  citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable experience
  by corresponding with constituents, assembling bill books, and
  completing other important legislative tasks; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Deborah Carlisle and Robert Spratt,
  Ms. Spratt is a junior studying linguistics and French at The
  University of Texas at Austin; during her college career, she has
  served as chief of staff and as team cocaptain for the Central Texas
  Model United Nations Conference and as director of rituals for
  Delta Gamma Fraternity; following her graduation, she plans to
  pursue a career in state government; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Molly Karol Spratt for her service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative Dan
  Huberty and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Spratt as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
